On Saturday, March 31 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Bennington Museum will hold its Fifth Annual Appraisal Fair in the Paul Paresky Museum Court and Ada Paresky Education Center, both located on the second floor.  Bring family heirlooms or the odd, quirky piece you always wanted to know about, and let an expert panel of art and antique appraisers explain and evaluate your items. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ ANNUAL BRIDAL FAIR
SUNDAY, MARCH 25
1:00 to 4:30 pm

The Bennington Museum's warm and elegant rental space for weddings, bridal brunches, rehearsal dinners and all events associated with a bride and groom's special day, is the location for this year's Bridal Fair.   If you are planning that 'special day', come by the museum to speak with caterers, bakers, photographers, jewelers, calligraphers, site and tent rentals, musicians, and more.   Sample wedding cakes,  and try on wedding bands.  Throughout the afternoon, enjoy the fashions being modeled including bridal gowns, cocktail dresses, attendants' dresses and tuxedos from Shaffe's Men's Shop in Bennington.  
Finally, there will be door prizes offered by the vendors and a Grand Prize Package designed especially for an upcoming wedding.   Admission is $5 at the door.
