The Bennington Museum is calling for local artists to participate in the Local Artist Program.  This is a juried exhibit and the museum welcomes applications in all media, from traditional crafts to oil painting, photography, illustration, and sculpture. The jury is open to any and all art forms and styles.  

The application deadline for the upcoming session of the Local Artist Program is Monday, December 17 however applications will be accepted on a continuous basis.  Local Artist is defined as an artist living or working within southern Vermont or the surrounding regions of western Massachusetts and upstate New York.  Artists must submit samples of their work either in slides, prints, or originals, an artist's statement, and a one page proposal for gallery use.  Successful applicants will be given a six week showing.  The earliest show will be running from early February through mid March, with other sessions to follow.   Applications can be picked up at the museum or call 802-447-1571 for more information.
