Bank of Bennington Free-For-All Final Fridays
The Bennington Museum announces a series of “Free-for-All Final Fridays” sponsored by The Bank of Bennington. These community days at the Bennington Museum are days when anyone can enjoy, free of charge, all the exhibits at the Bennington Museum. The free days are scheduled for the last Friday of the summer months.

The generosity of The Bank of Bennington - “Your Home Town Bank” - makes it possible for all in the community to visit on any “Free-for-All Final Friday” and enjoy the variety of art and objects on view at the museum. Enjoy the museum’s permanent collections including Bennington Pottery, exhibitions in the Military Gallery, and the Grandma Moses Schoolhouse. View the temporary exhibits, pick up gifts from our shop and enjoy a picnic in the Hadwen Pavillion. There is always something special for everyone to see and do.

Through August 17, the museum is featuring “Take Me Out to the Ballgame”: A Summer of Baseball in Bennington. Enjoy the Golden Age of Baseball which focuses on the Great Icons like DiMaggio, Mantle, Ruth and more. Then let history come alive with Baseball in Vermont, an exhibit which looks at how the game has been played in Vermont backyards and local ball fields for well over 100 years.

The Bennington Museum is located at 75 Main Street (Route 9), Bennington, in The Shires of Vermont. The museum is just a short ride from Manchester, Williamstown, and eastern New York. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the museum is closed on Wednesdays. Visit www.benningtonmuseum.org or call 802-447-1571 for more information about the museum.
