Any time of year is a wonderful time to visit the Bennington Museum. From the museum’s permanent collection, items such as Bennington Pottery, the 1924 Wasp Touring Car, Fine Art, Vermont Furniture, and the Bennington Flag – one of America’s oldest flags - are always on view. Throughout each year, temporary exhibits change and have included displays that ranged from “Patience to Raise the Sun: Art Quilts from Haiti” and the 1863 Jane Stickle Quilt to the contemporary art displayed in “Re-imagining the Distaff Toolkit” and the historic art and artifacts that were exhibited in “For the Record: Art and Artifacts of the American Family”. In addition to the exhibits, there are events and classes for children and adults throughout the year.
Just a short drive from Albany, the Berkshires, Northern New Jersey and the Canadian border, the Bennington Museum is just one of the many stops in the wonderful town of Bennington. Come and Explore! We know you will be happy you did.
